Rush Application

ELIGIBILITY

To enter Alpha Kappa Psi’s New Member Education Program for Spring 2026, prospective members must meet the following criteria:

1) Have a minimum academic GPA of 2.7

2) Have completed at least one semester at Bentley University

Note: Transfers students are eligible to follow the Rush process.

Compared to the social and honorary fraternities, a business fraternity focuses on professionalism and networking. Specifically for Alpha Kappa Psi - we emphasize building a Brotherhood where we seek mutual benefit by learning, teaching, and growing together to develop life-long friendships and networking.
We are a co-ed fraternity therefore men and women in all majors, even if you are not studying business but are interested in professional development, you are eligible to apply for membership. If you are also involved in other organizations such as Greek fraternities and sororities, you are also eligible.
Rush is the process where students go to events to be eligible to receive a bid. Rushees are students who are rushed by a fraternity or a sorority.
An invitation to membership in a fraternity.
You become a pledge if you accept the bid invitation. When you are pledging you will learn about the chapter and expand your knowledge of the Brotherhood and Professionalism.
The pledge process varies from semester to semester. Typically it lasts 6 weeks.
There is absolutely no hazing.
